Define workflow for content authoring

In Sitefinity you can create a workflow for managing the lifecycle of content items and pages. You can create two levels of approval workflow that has the following description – content creators who create content and send it for approval, first level of approvers who review the content and reject it or send it for publishing, then second level of approvers who approve and publish it.

To create and apply such a workflow to the content items on your website, perform the following:

1. Define what type of workflow you will use, decide who will approve content and select which content will be part of the workflow.
   To do this, perform procedure Defining a workflow with the following parameters:
   • In Step 3, select 2 levels of approval before publishing.
   • In Step 9, select All content and pages.
2. Ensure the workflow is active using procedure Activating and deactivating a workflow.
