Image

Description 

This is the Image public control. It will be the only available control that displays one or more news items. Figure 2 shows what the Image control displays after it is added to a page.

Setting the Public Controls

There are two property tabs for the Image control - Basic and Advanced.

 

The Basic tab is a designer for the Image control, as shown in Figure 3. It provides user-friendly way to display images:

Setting the properties in the Basic tab is enough to make the Image control work. The properties in the Advanced tab, however, provide advanced functionality for extending the control.

 

The Advanced tab contains sections with the properties of the Image control as shown in Figure 4:

Following are some basic settings that need to be made to work with the Image control:

  1. Appearance section: ImageUrl should contain the URL of the image to be displayed. It should be added by clicking the Select button, choosing which library contains the desired image, selecting the image and clicking I'm done.
  2. Behavior section: Visible should be True

 

 

Download List

Description 

This is the Download List public control. It displays a list of links for downloading each file in a specified library. Figure 5 shows what the Download List control displays after it is added to a page.

Setting the Public Controls

There are two property tabs for the Download List control - Basic and Advanced.

 

The Basic tab is a designer for the Download List control, as shown in Figure 6. It provides user-friendly way to specify what should the control display and how:

  1. Behavior section: ParentIDs should contain the ID or IDs of the libraries that contain the files to be displayed for downloading. This should be done by clicking the Select button, choosing a specific library or check the option for all files, and clicking I'm done.

 

Image Gallery

Description 

This is the Image Gallery public control. It displays images from image library or libraries. Figure 8 shows what the Image Gallery control displays after it is added to a page.
