Ideosity worked with Hisco to build their new B2C e-commerce website on Sitefinity 5.0. All of the new website product information is driven by their Heiler Product Information Management System that Ideosity configured and integrated to Sitefinity. Hisco had recently implemented Heiler PIM to get a better handle on all of their production information. Hisco was able to leverage their new PIM in order to rebuild and enhance their existing site. Hisco’s site has recently been upgraded to version 5.2 of Sitefinity.
The L.S. Starrett Company is a world-leading manufacturer of precision tools, gauges, saw blades, and other instruments. Ideosity was initially engaged by Starrett to create an interactive digital version of Starrett’s PDF catalog. The new catalog has search capabilities, a fully linked table of contents and multiple indexes, the ability to download and email pages, and a host of other features. Building on the success of their e-catalog, Starrett engaged Ideosity to create a consistent global web presence with multi-language capabilities that was driven by their Oracle Product Information Management system. Ideosity worked with Starrett to build a new site with Sitefinity 4.1, and integrated it with their Oracle PIM. Starrett’s site is currently live in the United States and has since been upgraded to version 5.2. International sites are set to begin launching starting in 2013.
