Sitefinity 6.0 SP1 contains important bug fixes across the board. Among the CMS enhancements are a removal of the forced back-end compatibility with IE8 which allows IE9 and IE10 users to also take advantage of the latest Sitefinity features. The requirement to explicitly register sub-domains starting with “www” in license is also removed.

The Sitefinity 6.0 release is the result of several ongoing projects coming together. It provides a balance between constant improvement and deepening of the already market-leading mobile story.

Sitefinity 5.4 Hotfix 3 provides a fix for a randomly reproducible exception when using Sitefinity Module Builder, as well as an improved overall system stability in areas where potential deadlock issues can occur leading to unresponsive site.

Sitefinity 5.4 Hotfix 2 is a release solving an application freeze (Sitefinity stops responding to requests). The issue might occur only when the public pages of the CMS are browsed while one of the following operations is being performed...

It contains all of the features of 5.4 listed, and also fixes Group pages behavior in custom navigation controls where StartingNodeOffset of SitefinitySitemapDataSource is set to 1.

The Sitefinity team has created solutions to a long list of improvements requested by our customers. With the New Year rapidly approaching, it’s time for our final release of 2012. Sitefinity 5.3 includes important enhancements and improves product performance. At the same time, we continue to aggressively plan for our 2013 releases, and more details on those will be forthcoming.
