The Challenge
With more than 30 years experience in the IT industry, targeted at SME and public entities in the Spanish Southeast area, Inforges Group decided to develop a new expansion strategy, as part of which the following had to be fulfilled:
- Create a new brand for a family of business-oriented IT products for SME: I4U, Innovating For You.
- Start relationships with nationwide and international partners to commercialize I4U family of products.
Inforges Group wanted to take advantage of the internet to promote the new brand as well as the partnership program. Their smart marketing plan included events, meetings, and other promotions.
The Solution
Sitefinity provided Inforges Group with the platform from which to start the web presence process for I4U (Innovating For You). Through Sitefinity’s web tools, Inforges Group could create a rich, multi-language website for the new brand and also manage communication and collaboration with the partner network.

In addition, thanks to Sitefinity’s open architecture, Inforges Group was able to add a new Partner module and manage partner registration and database. Also, many out-of-the-box Sitefinity modules were employed - the News, Images & Documents, Newsletter and List modules were used to communicate with the partners, while the Polls and Forums modules were utilized for the purpose of collecting feedback from the partners.
The availability of these Sitefinity modules reduced development time and allowed us to focus on creativity. Also, the cost of the final solution was decreased.
The CMS administration portal, which is very intuitive and easy to use, was translated into Spanish to allow the end customer to easily manage content and meet the challenges of the dynamic business world. With Sitefinity as the CMS platform, updates were a matter of a few clicks.
The Results
The I4U website had over 1,000 visitors during the first 3 months. Most of the users browsed the website to get detailed information about the products, while others were interested in partnership with Inforges Group. Inforges Group was able to sign distribution agreements with more than 10 partners.
