  Telerik is a leading vendor of ASP.NET AJAX, Silverlight, WinForms and WPF controls and components, as well as .NET Reporting, .NET ORM and .NET CMS solutions.
• Challenge
  Telerik’s old website played a significant role in promoting the company as a leader in .NET UI componentsdevelopment. Telerik has been growing with a fast step throughout the years adding newproducts and services, extending its training and support services and materials. The old website’sarchitecture was no longer suitable for Telerik’s growing needs.

• Why Sitefinity
  Sitefinity CMS is a relatively new addition to Telerik’s portfolio however one that’s been rapidly developed in the past couple of years. By choosing to replace the old CMS with Sitefinity, we actually chose to walk in the customer’s shoes. Going through all the steps of such a major project helped us learn a lot about the product itself and how to further enhance it.
• Results
  Undoubtedly, Telerik’s new website makes a huge difference. We’ve received feedback from many customers expressing their happiness from being able to more easily browse and find information on the site. The growing Telerik product portfolio could finally get full exposure on our website.

The decision to transfer Telerik.com to Sitefinity was taken with several goals in mind. We wanted to enhance user experience, as well improve the performance and scalability compared to our old website. In this study you can learn more about how we built the site including details on how we:

• Seamlessly integrated the new website with Telerik’s existing systems.
• Built a high performance and scalable website white still being able to handle the large amount of traffic that Telerik.com receives.
