Hey, I'm evaluating the community edition to see if SF meets my needs and have a question about deploying on a shared hosting platform like www.mosso.com.  It seems most of the content is stored in the DB but i'm not quite sure how SF translates a page request into serving the actual page data since it dynamically composes pages on the fly.

Since I can't go in and modify the IIS settings on a hosting platform like Mosso, does that mean I can't deploy a SF site onto that service?  I haven't dug deeply enough to know if SF requires custom modification of the IIS application config.

Thanks for any input!  The application is very nicely though, I looked at a lot of CMS solutions and as a long-time Win32 developer, feel comfortable going with Telerik.

Hi Chris Douglass,

We do not have a lot of information about the hosting environment which Mosso provides. The only specific detail that was provided to us is that Mosso is supporting only Integrated Pipeline configuration. We already made our product compatible with it for the latest Sitefinity version 3.2 SP2 HF1616. It was released just two weeks ago, and it is not fully tested yet. It seems that the only problem would be with one of the RadControls (RadUpload), which is not supporting this environment by default.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes,
