The Challenge
Established in 1995, Radmix is a worldwide leader in the manufacture of steel and synthetic fibres and has manufacturing partners located throughout the world, providing a global ordering network. The Radmix product is utilized by such leading companies as BASF, BHP and Rio Tinto for a diverse range of medium to large scale construction projects worldwide.
Radmix required an overhaul of their existing static website extending their brand identity and providing a method for staff to easily update content. Furthermore, a set of software tools for their customers was currently distributed on DVD and an alternative secure method for a web based distribution was required. Search engine optimization was also a major factor ensuring Radmix was found in search engines within a specific set of terms.
The Solution
Radmix, having worked with Glenfield Creative for a number of years in the development of branding and electronic media, contracted the firm to create a new online presence, extending the Radmix brand and providing a robust content management system.
Sitefinity CMS was chosen for its ease of use for Radmix staff to update pages using the CMS editor, the “out of the box” search engine optimization and page permissions, as well as user registration and login for secure pages.
The Results
Through the launch of the Sitefinity website by Glenfield Creative, Radmix was able to substantially increase traffic to their website, resulting in new leads from diverse areas of the globe. Radmix is now able to easily update product information online and administration costs have been significantly reduced be distributing client software via the internet.
