    Hi Guys

I know I am jumping ahead a bit here but I just need this for some work I am doing currently.

If I create a user control how can I find out the info on the current page?

Also If I am using user controls and want to precompile my website before I release it will there be any Issues with that?

    Hi Paul,

It depends on what kind of info you need - for general information you can use the SiteMap.CurrentNonde. For more information please refer to http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.web.sitemap.currentnode.aspx

For Sitefinity specific information you need to reference the Telerik.Cms assembly and cast the Page property of your control to Telerik.Cms.Web.InternalPage .

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards,
    Bob
