    Can you point me in the direction to solve this build error?

    The type or namespace name 'RadNotification' does not exist in the namespace 'Telerik.Web.UI' (are you missing an assembly reference?)

    this is the line where vs takes me:
    protected global::Telerik.Web.UI.RadNotification JobDetailsNotification;
            /// <summary>
            /// txtJobDetailsBox control.
            /// </summary>
            /// <remarks>
            /// Auto-generated field.
            /// To modify move field declaration from designer file to code-behind file.
            /// </remarks>

    any help would be appreciated.

    Hello David,

    You need at least Visual Studio 2010 or higher to run Sitefinity project:

    You can download the free Visual Studio Express edition to run it:
