    I am still testing SiteFinity, we have not begun importing our website into SiteFinity, we want to use SiteFinity and all the ins-and-outs before complicating it further by incorporating our controls and site structure...

    Today i wanted to test the "upgradability" of SiteFinity from 3.2 to 3.5 (i was told there where a few fixes in 3.5 that i had concerns about and wanted fixed.)

    First thing i noticed is that all Navigation controls are broken after the upgrade due to a rename of the Navigation folder to Navigation35... Fortunatly this is a simple replace in the template of the site but still not very "plug and play" after an upgrade.

    This is more of a "did you know?" than a "please fix this right now!"...

    Hello Nugs,

    A possible solution is to delete the old Navigation (~/Sitefinity/UserControls/Navigation) folder and then rename Navigation35 to Navigation. Also, the controls should be declared in the web.config file as follows:

          <add name="Site Menu" section="Navigation" url="~/Sitefinity/UserControls/Navigation/SiteMenu.ascx" />
          <add name="Site Panelbar" section="Navigation" url="~/Sitefinity/UserControls/Navigation/SitePanelbar.ascx" />
          <add name="Site Tabstrip" section="Navigation" url="~/Sitefinity/UserControls/Navigation/SiteTabstrip.ascx" />
          <add name="Site Treeview" section="Navigation" url="~/Sitefinity/UserControls/Navigation/SiteTreeview.ascx" />

    Do let us know if this helps.

    Kind regards,
    the Telerik team
