    Hi,

I'm working with Sitefinity 3.7 Standard Edition and facing a strange issue on the production server. Our client has uploaded almost 3000 odd images in an Image library. Now when he clicks the Categories link for that image library, the page times out.

No clue on why is this happening.

    Thanks,
    Saumitra

    Hi Saumitra,

It is possible that the server cannot handle the request. Check the SQL and IIS logs. Check the  Sitefinity's log inside App_Data as well.
How many categories you have? If they are over 150 you might consider implementing optimization in categories view.

    Best wishes,

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I REALLY need an answer to what I posted about two weeks ago, as I have not yet gotten a response and the issue is critical component of the website: http://www.sitefinity.com/devnet/forums/sitefinity-3-x/bugs-issues/external-links-to-pdfs-not-showing-in-ie-urgent.aspx#1494461
