    I am using sitefinity 3.7.

I have created a separe News provider called "Awards".
Now i am able to add my data using this new provider.
I want to display this data on front end.
I have created a new folder "Awards" under Sitefinity\ControlTemplates\
and create a ascx file Sitefinity\ControlTemplates\Awards\ListPageDetails.ascx
I have created a class file under \App_Code\Classes\NewsViewAwards.cs
I have added the following line in webconfig - toolbox tag

    add name="NewsView Awards" section="News" type="Telerik.News.WebControls.NewsViewAwards, App_Code" />

I have created a page in sitefinithy and drag this usercontrol.
I set the Data provider to "Awards"
but not able to view the data.

Can u please let me know , where i am wrong.......

    Hi Anu,

Since you use App_Code, this is not a user control. It is a custom control. Why don't you just change the provider name of the default NewsView control? It should get the data from your custom provider and if necessary you can modify only the templates.

    All the best,
