I have placed a radrotator in my page, and inside that radrotator item template I have added 2 controls(2 link buttons) and a client side anchor tag(<a>) .Now my requirement is that, when I click the first link button it should do some operation ,for the second link button different operation and the click on the anchor tag it should redirect to some other page.

Now the problem is that, I have added "OnItemClick"  event for implementing the same, but now even  for anchor tag click its going to server side(For every event its going to the same OnItemClick event) .Is there a way to identify the object(control) from which the event has fired? (something similar to datalist or datagrid ItemCommand   event)

    Hi suthin sadanandan,

    Here are two options

    1. Access the anchor inside ItemDataBound event and set some of its properties

    2. Add some attribute to the anchor when you bound the items so that each anchor will have an attribute and it will be recognized correctly when you perform a click.

    All the best,
    Ivan Dimitrov
