all my generic content links including blogs and events render with a CntPageID in the query string. How do I disable this? I don't need it for anything and I want to disable it, as it's making duplicate entries in search engines and stuff.

why is this thing here anyway? I'm guessing that it's used to keep track of the page on the list of the contentview list that sent it, but is that really REQUIRED?

    many thanks

    Hello SelArom,

The CntPageID is used in the querystring parameters to pass the current page ID when paging is enabled.
In your case reason for passing such a parameter is the property AllowLinksToPrevNextItem set to True.

Setting the AllowLinksToPrevNextItem to False should prevent the CntPageID being passed as querystring parameter. You can do so from ContentView properties Explicit Links > AllowLinksToPrevNextItem.

Let us know if you need any further assistance.
