I am using the Sitefinity Blog for a website and have the CategoriesList to display Categories of  all the current Posts. It however does not display the accurate number of posts that belong to that category, it is defaulting the number to 3 even if the number of posts in that category is 1 or 2.

I am able to see the right number of count in the Sitefinity admin section under Blogs-> Categories but not on the Blog Page. Please see the attached files for screenshots.

And nothing has been changed in the CategoriesList.ascx.

    Hi Cesar,

Thank you for using our services.

The categories public control uses caching for performance optimization as the operation for getting the number of items in each category is not very fast. It caches the number of content items in one category on the first request to the page. Then until the cache expires (2 hours) or the site is restarted it will display this number. Can you please try restarting the website to see if the control will show the correct data.
