Hi I'm look into moving my connection string from DataConfig to webconfig, and using external files. Our deployment system using an external file that loads them into machine.config. Basically the system needs each connectionstring to have a unique name. For now for our Sitefinity websites it just uses Octopus deploy variables to overwrite the connectionstring in dataconfig.

I can see from past searches on the internet that Telerik was looking into letting the connectionstring name be set by us, has this ever happened?
