I've read a couple of threads here about deploying the SF website.

Most refer to a section in the User Manual that doesn't appear to exist!

Am I right in thinking that all I have to do is FTP all the files below c:\program files\telerik\sitefinity3.7 Community\<website_name> on my local machine to my hosted web server and restore a copy of the database in the App_Data folder?

Or am I supposed to be installing something else as well on the server?

    Hello Stuart Hemming,

Migrating Sitefinity from local/dev/staging to production is the same as how you would do it for each other ASP.NET Website.  Your steps are correct - FTP all files, restore database backup to the production. Note that the connection string should be change and compilation mode debug should be set to false.

    All the best,
    Ivan Dimitrov
