    I'm about to deploy but just realized my mail settings require SSL. From what I can tell, you can't configure that in the <mailSettings> tag in web.config. Is there another way to do it?

    Hello Kyle Baley,

    Thank you for using our services.

    After you have configured your SMTP with SSL encryption you should set EnableSsl property to true in the web.config nodes below:

    <notifications defaultProvider="Notifications"
            <clear />
            <add name="Notifications" type="Telerik.Notifications.Data.DefaultProvider, Telerik.Notifications.Data" connectionStringName="DefaultConnection" EnableSsl="false" MergedFields="FirstName;LastName" SendingInterval="1000" />

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards,
    Ivan Dimitrov
