How is the best way to deploy SiteFinity with an exsisting website ?

We have a large website with hundred page on the server, some pure html and some with functionality in aspx page and ascx control.

We cannot interrupt the exsisting website because is a ecommerce website.

We want move in sitefinity but I'm struggle to find a way to deploy correctly.

Maybe we'll have a local implementation and afer when all the page is build in sitefinity just copy the file on the server and the database?

We would like have some parallel system that works in parallel with the exsiting website and day by day porting the page in sitefinity.

Another question is possible have a sitefinity in a separate domain to prepare the porting and after move in original domain ? there is some problem with this approach ?

    Please share your thought

Hi,  I'm struggling with the very same issue as the original poster of this thread.  I would be helpful to share the information, after all that's what the forum is for.

    Thank you,
