I am using the sitefinity 3.7 sp3 blank project for development.

Have been trying to set the compilation configuration for the website project to release but that option is
    not available.

I cant seem to create a new release configuration either.

Do you have any experience or tip, I have set debug flag of web.config to false but would be nice
to have it done the right/complete way.

    Hi Amir,

You could set Release configuration only in case you have two versions of your custom code.  You may find this article useful - How to: Set Debug and Release Configurations
