Could someone explain why the User Manual gives instructions on how to make IIS 7 work like IIS 6.

Is this (hopefully) a backward compatibility issue for existing sites using previous versions of Sitefinity ?

Also ... is there a new User Manual for version 3.6 available  ... as it is very confusing for a newbie (who is not aware of the differences between versions) to be reading instructions which may (or may not) be obsolete ?

    Hello R,

This is no longer valid. Sitefinity 3.5 and 3.6 can work in native IIS7 integrated mode. We are in process of updating our User Manual. I expect it to be released with the service pack, coming in the end of this month.

    I apologize for the confusion.

    Sincerely yours,
    the Telerik team
