    I know how to edit some of the existing presentation modes in Events, but how would I add a completely new one?  I would like to create a mini-events widget that sits on various pages so I could use something that is copied from the LisPageMode presentation mode.

    Is there a way to set the default  some of the control defaults like # of records to show?  I would want the mini control to only show 2 items at a time and it would be nice if I could set that by default using a property in something like the <sfDesign:PresentationMode> tag in the control designer.

    Hi Michael Park,

    You can achieve this by mapping ListPageDetail template to EventsView control. Then hide the pager in this template by setting its property to false.

    <telerik:Pager ID="pager1" runat="server" Visible ="false">

    Open EventsView control in edit mode through Sitefinity UI, go to Advanced tab and under Paging category set ItemsPerPage to 2 and AllowPaging to True.
    You can create a custom control that inherits from EventsView and implement a public property that will hide the pager instead of hardcoding Visible value.

    Sincerely yours,
