    Hi I have a site design with a main nav menu that looks like this:

    <div id="mainnav"
    <ul>
    <li><a id="nav1" href="#"</a></li>
    <li><a id="nav2" href="#"</a></li>
    <li><a id="nav3" href="#"</a></li>
    <li><a id="nav4" href="#"</a></li>
    <li><a class="active" id="nav5" href="#"</a></li
    </ul>
    </div>

    Each of these items has a CSS background image, rollover and active state.  This top level navigation will not change but sub pages can be created / deleted.  I'd like to use the SiteMenu to take advantage of the built in drop down menus for subnavigation.  Is there a way to do this?

    Hi Devin,

    In SiteMenu( RadMenu) control you can use SelectedItemCssClass which applies to the selected item. On each item you can add image. For all expanded items you can apply ExpandedCssClass. For hovered items you should apply .SomeClass: hover.

    For more detailed information you can take a look at Controlling Appearance, Controling appearance of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX in Sitefinity
