Any assistance to help me better understand the control would be greatly appreciated.
    Basic site structure:
    Home
    -Main1(group)
    --Main1DefaultPage
    -Main2(group)
    --Main2DefaultPage
    ----Child1
    ---------ChildA
    ---------ChildB
    ---------ChildC
    ----Child2
    ----Child3
    ---------ChildA
    ---------ChildB
    ----Child4
    -Main3(group)
    --Main3DefaultPage

All of the Main_DefaultPages are using a template on which there is a SiteMenu that shows buttons for it's children. This part of it is working perfectly,as I would like, using the defaults, only changing "StartFromCurrentNode" to true.

All children of Default pages are using an exact copy of the template but I want the SiteMenu on this template to essentially show buttons for all pages within that group at that same level so...
    example:
If visiting Child3, the SiteMenu would show buttons for Child1, Child2, Child3, Child4, and of course, their children. I think that if I were to hard-code the sitemap starting point I could achieve this, but I haven't figured out how to achieve this just using the parameters such as StartingNodeOffset, ShowStartingNode, StartFromCurrentNode, etc...
If I hard-code the starting point for the SiteMenu, then I'll have to create copies of the template for each group. I'm hoping I can figure out how to make the SiteMenu control display the current, sibling, and child navigation without hard-coding the sitemap starting points and just have the single template for use by all child pages.
    Thanks!

Arg...  figured out that just setting the offset to "2" results in the desired behavior.
    sorry for the post.
