hey. ive just started using sitefinity a week or so ago. im having trouble with my rad panel menu design and functionality,

basically i have my site which has static menu tabs and within each of these pages i need them to display the sections created by the user. im able to get the menu to show fine, however i cannot seem to get the menu to display horizontally and only show the subsections of these pages and not the parent pages in the menu. i hope this makes sense.

    Hi Dan,

We don't quite understand what exactly you mean by "rad panel menu". However, if you want to display only certain levels from the site map, for example only 2nd level and deeper, you can do it like this:

    1. Use SiteMenu control (located in section Navigation in the Toolbox, this control wraps the RadMenu and SiteMapDataSource controls)
    2. From Edit Properties, set the StartingNodeOffset property to 1.

This would cause the menu to display pages one level deeper than the starting level.
In Properties, section Misc > Menu, click Edit. expand the Behavior subsection and select Horizontal for the Flow property.

Do let us know if you need any further assistance.

    All the best,
