    Hi there,

I use the same approach from this post for inserting a separator in a PanelBar (how to insert into menu Everything works fine in FF 2/3, Chrome, Safari, and IE8. However in IE 7 and lower there is extra vertical space added when the separators are added. I've tried every css variation I can think of and still no luck. Anyone have any ideas? If I comment out the separator in the code behind the panel bar looks as it should (except missing the required separator) so this is how I know that it's the adding of the separator that's causing the problem.

Any help would be appreciated. Please let me know if samples of code/css are required but I'm hoping that it's an easy fix that someone else has encountered before.

    Hello Phill Hodgkinson,

    Sorry for the late reply.

I couldn't reproduce the problem you've described. I have attached two screenshot from FF and IE7. My test page looks pretty much the same at both browsers.

So, it will be best if you can send us a live URL to investigate the issue. Or, you can send us your custom panel bar template (.ascx), your site theme (~/App_Themes) and master page (~/App_Master). Also, a screenshot will be very helpful.

    Thanks for your cooperation.

    All the best,
    the Telerik team
