    Dear All!

I've just set-up my first Sitefinity-Website on localhost. I have chose the "emerald-company" theme and loaded sample content.
Under the "About Us" page-group I have added several more page-groups with child-pages. Further I have set the ExpandMode - property of the SitePanelbar to "SingleExpandedItem" and also set the "HideUrlForGroupPages" - property to "true" so that the group-nodes are clickable without doing a postback.

The problem is, that by default (without making any changes to the usercontrols-code) all groups are expanded on page-load. Everything works fine as long as I don't refresh the page or navigate to a child-page.

    Any solution?

    Best regards,
    Daniel Lang

    Hi Daniel Lang,

If "About us" is a group page it will redirect to its first page. If this first page - say "FirstGroup" is a group you will go one level deeper - to "FirstGroup/page1.aspx" because "page1" is the first child page of FirstGroup. SingleExpandedItem is not related to this behavior it only specifies whether only one item can be expanded at a time. Generally when you load a page with a RadPanelBar control all items under the current level are expanded, but not all RadPanelBar items.
