We use A/B testing to make adjustments to our site to test which page designs/layouts work better. Google Analytics and HubSpot help us with this by adjusting the javascript calls based on the A or B page. Some CMS platforms support this. Is anyone doing this with Sitefinity? Any plans to add support for this in the future? We would need marketing to be able to do this without writing any code.

    Hi Bill,

We don't have this functionality out of the box, but we think that it could be achieved. You should develop a custom HTTP Module that is registered before ours in your project's web.config file.

This HTTP Module should implement the A/B and Multi-Variant testing logic. You might create different page groups for the different type of users and the HTTP module should manage which page group to serve to the user. Different user controls could be developed to set different cookies for the page groups. The HTTP module should also be able to read these cookies. All these things should be managed through the UI.

This is one of the ways to achieve this functionality, perhaps there might be other possible solutions for it.

We do not have plans to include this feature right now. Yet we find it interesting, if we gather some more details about the way you would like to see it implemented, we can discuss it again and even include it in the roadmap.
We hope you find this answer helpful.

    Best wishes,
    the Telerik team
