At this moment I am in a software selection procedure and I am curious if it's possible to do the following with your product:

Expose personalised (self build) modules (track & trace, ordering ) to users who log in and work with several roles.

For example, a user goes to the public website (in sitefinity?) and logs into the extranet part of our website and sees all his product orders with status and can create a new order. Also Order history can be seen with a menu option and he can create a complain ticket about a order of the past.

    Thank you for your information.

    Hi Ad de Vos,

Thank you for your interest in Sitefinity!

The security permissions and role management implementations in the current version allow you to have an Extranet infrastructure built with Sitefinity. We don't have the requested module functionality, but such could be developed with the exposed APIs.

We suggest you to take a look at our demo site and the permissions and roles implementations, I believe this would help you understand the security model of our CMS.

You could also refer to our Developers Manual for more information on Sitefinity APIs and programming concepts.

We would be glad to assist you further for any questions you might have.

    Best wishes,
    the Telerik team
