Because of the added layout flexibility, I am currently implementing all 'articles' on my website as full pages rather than blog entries, etc.  Unfortunately, I lose all the great built in functionality of the 'generic content' based modules, such as keywords/comments, but I really require full freedom to place other controls on the page, which isn't possible is I used a the Blog module.

I really need to find a way to allow user's to add comments/feedback to the articles, though, and I was wondering if there is a way to easily enable this at the bottom of 'any' page?  The functionality is to a degree already there in the generic content modules ... how complicated would it be to break the comment form/management out to something more generic?  It would be a very useful control to add in the future it this isn't easily possible now ... something simple like 'Comment Form', etc.

    Hello Kevin,

Please refer to the following forum thread which provides an example how to implement comments on pages: Comments. In short, you need to create a new provider for Generic Content module and a PageComments custom control which is intended for public use on the page.

Let us know if this helps.

    Sincerely yours,
