What is the best way to add my own widget to the standard Images and Documents module?

Basically, I want to create a special widget that should show up under Images and Documents when you click Add Controls.

I have no problem creating the widget and adding it to one of my own custom modules, but, I would like this widget to just show up under the existing Images and Documents tools.

Hi Joe,

Can you attach a screenshot of the section "click Add Controls." which you refer? Is this a widget that you want to add dynamically?

I don't really need it to be added dynamically at run-time, but, I just want it to show up under the Images and Documents module.
I have attached a screenshot.

Hello Joe,

Register the control through the web.cofig toolboxControls section

You should set the section property to "Images & Documents"

<add name="MyControl" section="Images & Documents" type="MyNamespace.MyControl, MyNamespace"/>

Best wishes,
Ivan Dimitrov
