Is it possible, using the newsletter feature,  for people to sign up to a newletter, that automatically informs you of when the page content has changed ?

much like the notifying approval person is the page needs approving.

this would obviously be rigged up to the publish bit, and when a page has changed, it fires off an email

    Hi Quade,

This is actually the notification service that we have planned. However, it will not make its way into the upcoming Sitefinity release of Service Pack 2.

Please let us know if you have further questions.

    Sincerely yours,

    thanks

Just to confirm, the notification service which notifies APPROVERS and PUBLISHERS by email if there is a page is waiting for their approval, will NOT be included in SP2

If this is correct, what date do you plan to put this feature in?

    Hi Quade,

Yes, this is correct - the built-in notification services will not be included in Service Pack 2 v.3.2. It is scheduled for release 4.0 in the beginning of next year.

    All the best,
