I've modified the blog module to add a few metafields using radcomboboxes wrapped in usercontrols. Right now the values in the RadComboBox are hard-coded and I would like to be able to pull them from someplace that is controlled via the backend.

I was thinking to use the Lists module to create the list of values that I want to populate the combobox with. Is there a better way to do this? And if not, how do I go about binding the RadComboBox (wrapped in a UserControl) that's being referenced in the PostNew/PostEdit controls to a list stored in Lists?

For example the blogs have a Course Instructor metafield, and I want those to be managed from the admin area somehow. Thank you.

    Hello Jeff,

You can use the API to generate a list of items and bind it to your RadComboBox
