    Hi everyone,

I'm new like an infant to sitefinity, have been through lots of blogs and forum threads for product catalog management module, my ultimate goal is to develop a product catalog module using sitefinity where for example a user can built a PC by selecting different configurations provided. That is selecting a product will provide the user with multiple options like a image list with radio buttons for graphic cards to select from, and so on...

So I really badly need some help here to get started, what should i do build a custom module or control or something else.

A simple guideline and i'll be off using all the help provided for api and all.

    TIA

    Regards,

    Nauman

    Hello Nauman,

Have you looked at our Products Sample module? It should get you started.

    Thanks Georgi,

yes I have been through the product sample module, but the problem i'm facing is what i mentioned earlier that a product will have multiple attributes to select from, if we talk about the db architecture than it would be like a master table of products and a child table with attributes. Need to show those attributes against a product with radio button like selection.

    Regards,

    Nauman

    Hello Nauman,

Unfortunately I do not see how this is related to the Sitefinity development. As far I see, this is more a custom development and business logic that should be implemented as a Sitefinity module. We could not provide you with information on how to build this business logic though, since it depends on the developer and the project requirements.

    All the best,
    Georgi
