    Hi Everyone,

    I think this should be possible! We were wondering if there is an easy way to log the search terms people are entering on a Sitefinity website (Not external search engines - internal site searches).

    This data could then be used to help fine tune the sites navigation / information architecture based on what users are looking for / struggling to find.

    I can think of a few ideas on how we might be able to achieve this.

    The simplest would probably be to create a Usercontrol and put on the search results page that requests the “SearchQuery” querystring and logs it.

    Or we could attempt to extend some of the search controls methods etc
    Any thoughts?  Is there already a log!?

    Hello Chris,

    There is no built-in Sitefinity module for capturing site statistics. Actually, we've had a few similar requests but we still haven't got any plans for implementing such functionality as there are many free third party services you could seamlessly intergrate within Sitefinity.
