    Started to look at implementing a content rating feature.  The idea would be similar to tags in that any generic content item could be rated from one to five stars.

    Went into the database schema to see how tags were implemented and noticed a table named sf_ContentRating.  Hate to re-invent the wheel, can you tell me if content rating is already implemented or if it's on the product roadmap?

    FYI: Would like IP locking similar to polls if this is in the roadmap.

    FYI: I couldn't find the sitefinity forums linked on the new telerik main site.  I had sitefinity.com bookmarked or I wouldn't have found my way back.  Ditto documentation (user's guide, etc.).  Hate to see sitefinity hidden, awesome product.

    Hello Bob,

    Content Rating functionality is not fully implemented. Actually, it is in the process of development. Currently, Telerik.Cms.Engine.WebControls.ContentRating control is distributed with Sitefinity but it is still not tested and we cannot guarantee that it works properly. To test it you need just to declare the control in ~/Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/Generic_Content/ContentViewItemList.ascx template for example:

    <%@ Register Assembly="Telerik.Cms.Engine" Namespace="Telerik.Cms.Engine.WebControls" TagPrefix="sfWeb" %>

    <asp:Repeater ID="repeater" runat="server"
     <HeaderTemplate>
            <ul class="sf_genericContentList"
        </HeaderTemplate>
        <ItemTemplate>
            ...
                <p>
                    <sfWeb:RatingControl ID="rating1" runat="server" />
                </p>
    ...

    Note that the ID of the control should be one of the following: rating1, rating2.

    Hope you will find the provided information helpful.

    We're interested in this as well.  Do you have an approximate time for this release?
