    Hi

    i have a simple public control property (string) and as i read in the property-howto that should be enough that sitefinity will add this property to the backend.
     string _sSmallTeasers;
        [Category("Test")]
        public string SmallTeasers
        {
            get
            {
                return "-1";
            }
            set
            {
                _sSmallTeasers = value;
            }
        }

    But in my new control the property is not visible...another strange thing is, that i can see a property which is already deleted in the code.
    Are there some known bugs, which can cause the Problem? I saved the file after my changings.

    I already tryed the code in another control and the property is shown in hte backend.

    regrads David

    Hello David Pereira Vaz,

    The property looks correct. You are not able to see the property if System.ComponentModel.Browsable attribute is set to false. If you delete this property from your control code file and then try to remove the control from your page and add it, can you see the property there?

    Kind regards,

    Hello Dimitrov,

    thanks for the tip, now it works! I removed the control entry from web.config and from the page. Then i added the control as usual. Right now im not sure what went wrong but im glad that it works now. I will post the cause in case i find it.

    Thx again

    Regards David
