I'm a novice on sitefinity and inquiring if it's possible that i could use one forum control and have different group of users to view different category threads?

For example, i have two different types of groups. a publisher and an advertiser group. I was hoping to show different forum topics for publishers who logs in our system and likewise for an advertiser's case. If using one forum control not possible is there a work around on this like copying the forum control on sitefinity and thus work independently?

    Kindly advice.
Update: I found a link in one of sitefinity's forum here which was how to copy news module. Is there a similar method with copying forum module?

    Hi Kentaro,

It is possible. You can take a look at this forum thread. It has similar request. Instead of checking for the current page name you will check for the current user's roles and hide forum appropriately.
