    Hi,

I'm evaluating Sitefinity with multilingual content and was wondering how it could be possible to have different page names depending on the language.

For example, I have a 'music.aspx' page with english and french content. I would like this page linked as 'music.aspx' in english and 'musique.aspx' in french.
This is a need for optimal Search Engine Optimization.

I found that we can add other url for one page but unfortunately the default url is set for all languages and doesn't depend on the language.

How is it possible to solve this problem, can you suggest a workaround?

Do you have plans to add the option to choose a default page for each language on an upcoming version of Sitefinity?

    Best regard,

    Antoine.

    Hello Antoine,

Unfortunately, there is no workaround for this issue at the time being. We have had many inquiries about this particular problem and it has been logged in as a feature request already. However, we do not have a fixed date determining when will this feature be implemented.

I can see how this is a very important aspect of SEO efforts and I am truly sorry that I was not able to help you more at this time.

    Kind regards,

    Hi,

Is there any chance to see this feature in upcoming version 3.6?

Without different page name, I have to create a new page structure for each language and I'm loosing the Sitefinity multilingual advantage...

    Antoine.
