    Hi,

    When I drag the SiteMap control (available from the Marketplace by Gabe Sumner) to my page, I get the following error. Since I am a newbie to ASP.NET, a clear answer would be much appreciated!

    Parser Error Message: Could not load file or assembly 'RadTreeView.NET2' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

    Source Error:

    Line 1:  <%@ Control Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="SiteMap.ascx.cs" Inherits="GoonDocks_UserControls_SiteMap" %>
    Line 2: <%@ Register TagPrefix="rad" Namespace="Telerik.WebControls" Assembly="RadTreeView.NET2" %> Line 3:  <rad:radtreeview ID="SiteMapRadTreeView" EnableViewState="false" runat="server" />
    Line 4:

    Source File: /UserControls/SiteMap.ascx    Line: 2

    Hello Patrick Julicher,

    The following dll RadTreeView.NET2 is not located in your bin folder. Remove the following reference

    <%@ Register TagPrefix="rad" Namespace="Telerik.WebControls" Assembly="RadTreeView.NET2" %>

     and use "telerik" as tag prefix to add the RadTreeView control declaratively

    <telerik:RadTreeview ID="....." runat="server" ......>
    </telerik:RadTreeview>

    Kind regards,
    Ivan Dimitrov

    Hi Ivan,

    Thanks for your swift reply. It seems that that reference was already in there but with the telerik reference:

    <rad:Radtreeview ID="SiteMapRadTreeView" EnableViewState="false"
    runat="server" />

    After changing this to below, it works!

    <telerik:RadTreeview ID="SiteMapRadTreeView" EnableViewState="false"
    runat="server" /></telerik:RadTreeview><BR>

    Gr, Patrick
