    Hi There,

    I have to two questions regarding managing the posted comments on a given event:

    - The interface allows the end user to post their comment, including their name and emaill address.  Where is the interface to access this information including the email address entered?

    - Is it possible to turn off the ability to post comments?

    Thanks
    Yuen

    Hi Yuen,

    Where is the interface to access this information including the email address entered?

    Enable commentsModeration ="true" through Events provider section of your web.config file.

    <add name="Events" allowComments="true" urlRewriteFormat="[Publication_Date]/[Title].aspx" urlDateTimeFormat="yy-MM-dd" urlWhitespaceChar="_" visible="False" defaultMetaField="Title" securityProviderName="" allowVersioning="True" applicationName="/Events" versioningProviderName="" commentsModeration="true" connectionStringName="GenericContentConnection" type="Telerik.Events.Data.DefaultEventsProvider, Telerik.Events.Data"/>

    This will give you opportunity to manage users comments.

    Is it possible to turn off the ability to post comments?

    To turn on/off comments, open EventsView control designer edit mode, go to Advanced tab, find Comments category. There is a dropdown control from where you can manage comments. You should also set allowComments="true" or set false value in the web.config <providers> section for the desired provider ( Events, News, GenericContent and so on);

    Let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you.

    All the best,
