    I'm trying to set the ExpandableListViewTemplate on a list control and it doesn't appear to be working.  I can set the expanded and simple list templates fine, but setting the expandable template doesn't appear to do anything.

    Do I need to do anything other than map to the ascx file?

    Hi Mark,

    I cannot reproduce a problem with ExpandableListView template( ListDisplay control).

    Please make sure that you have the host type as the example below. Check whether you have correct layoutTemplatePath.

    <viewSettings hostType="Telerik.Lists.WebControls.ListDisplay"
          <additionalTemplates>
            <!--Expandable list-->
            <add key="ExpandableListTemplatePath" layoutTemplatePath="~/Sitefinity/Admin/External/Lists/Front/ExpandableListView.ascx" />
          </additionalTemplates>
        </viewSettings>

    Restart your application making any changes to the web.config or using IIS.

    ok, I didnt try that way.  That method will change the ExpandableListView template for all lists in the entire application though, right?

    I was referring to the ListDisplay control itself and the Advanced -> Appearance -> ExpandableListViewPath property.  Setting that property doesn't appear to do anything.  The other properties there seem to work fine though (SimpleListViewPath, ExpandedListViewPath for example).

    Hi Mark,

    The mapping will change the template for all ListDisplay controls that you have, not for all lists in the application.

    However, I figure out the problem. It is in our code and it has been fixed for the upcomming SP. There is a workaround - for this control use ExpandedListTemplatePath - it should work. I updated your telerik points for reporting this problem to us.

    Kind regards,
