I would like to create a newsletter for my site. The newsletters are of different categories so, I am using generic content to categorize them. I have a page 'Newsletters' in my site that contains all the newsletters with a dropdown used to filter the categories.
Currently, for sending newsletters, we are using generic content editor where we can write or upload a html template or a code snippet to get the appropriate newsletter template.
In my newsletter, I want to give an introductory content for each newsletter item and a 'ReadMore' link that points to the Newsletter page where one can find the total content. For this, we need to manually write the intro content for each item and provide a link to the Newsletter page. What I need is I want to make all this as automatic. That means, can we code something that retrieves the latest 5 newsletters in each category like inserting a code snippet.
    Can we achieve this?
I am using Sitefinity 3.6 version

    Hi Dinesh,

You can use the following method.

GetNewsletters ( int from, int max, ref int total, string sortExp )

    from -  Paging index from
max - Maximum number of newsletters to be returned
total - Number of newsletters actually returned
sortExp - Sort expression used to order newsletters
