    I am trying to add a flash movie to a generic content area using the flash manager. When I open the flash manager, the upload button is disabled.  Is there a configuration setting that I need to change to allow users to upload flash files?

    Thanks!

    Hi Steve,

    By design, we have the FlashManager dialog to have access only to directories named "Files". This means that you will have the buttons enabled only when your current path in the dialog is set to directory named Files. Here is how this looks like in the declaration of the RadEditor:

    (example)[YourProject]\Sitefinity\Admin\ControlTemplates\Generic_Content\ControlPanelInsert.ascx

    <telerik:RadEditor

    ....

        <MediaManager ViewPaths="~/Files" UploadPaths="~/Files" DeletePaths="~/Files" />

        <FlashManager ViewPaths="~/Files" UploadPaths="~/Files" DeletePaths="~/Files" />

    ......

    </telerik:RadEditor>

    You can change these paths to something valid, and the rest of the buttons will be become visible.

    Sincerely yours,
    Georgi
