    Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me. I can embed flash in the rad editor, but when I try to put the javascript that flash publishes to detect what version of flash the user is running, the javascript doesn't work. We've modified it to allow javascript to be put on the page, however it doesn't seem to work.

    Can anyone help me in the best way to put a flash version detector on the page? thanks, Curtis

    Hello Curtis Billue,

    Thank you for using our services.

    As you might already know in the default control templates that use the RadEditor (control templates for managing content in the modules for example) are set not to allow javascript. In case that you want to add scripts in the content through the editor you should first use the external templates for those controls.

    After you are using the external templates you should allow the use of scripts in the content area. You can try that by setting the ContentFilters property to None. The AllowScripts property that was used in older versions is now obsolete, and will not work:
                        <ImageManager ViewPaths="~/Images" UploadPaths="~/Images" DeletePaths="~/Images" />

    This should do the trick. If you have more questions, please feel free to contact us.

    Kind regards,
