    Hello,

I was reading this thread fullContent1 wihtout asp:HyperLink control  while I was trying to figure out how to create a "more..." hyperlink from the Event List, similar to what can be done with the News List.

The News List has an ID with "fullContent2" and the thread mentions fullContent + Index.

Should the Event module support fullContent2 also?  If not is there another ID I can use to get the URL for the full event detail?

For now, I have commented out the hyperlink using fullContent1 on the title and used it for my "more..." hyperlink.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards

    Mark

    Hi mdw_cubed,

In the ListPageMaster template of EventsView control there is Hyperlink with ID="fullcontent2" that links to the single item. You can enable it from EventsView control desiger - "Link More Information" checkbox on step 3 - Settings.
You can create up to 6  links that will link to the full item. Each control should be HyperLink control and must have ID="fullContent1" (D="fullContent2", ID="fullContent3" ... etc)
The controls can be added to the PresenationMode templates and then as a TextSettings of ContentView based ControlDesigner. Thus, you will be able to control whether the additional "fullContent' links will be shown for your items or not.

    I hope this helps.

    Best wishes,

    Hi Ivan,

    That did it, thanks :)

I'll feel a little stupid now as the "Link for more Information" option is rather obvious...good to know it how to enable more if I need them.

    Best regards
