    I am trying to figure out how to get the ICmsPage object of the Sitefinity Dashboard (ie: ~/Sitefinity/Admin/Default.asxp).  Really what I am trying to do is retrieve this object so I can test whether or not the current logged in user has view permissions to the Dashboard.

    PagePermission perm = new PagePermission(DashBoardPage);
    if (perm.CheckDemand(CrudRights.View))
          //Do Something;

    Is this possible?  Thank you!

    Hi Scott Harrington,

    The Dashboard is physical ASP.NET page. It is not ICmsPage object. There are not permissions that are set for the Default.aspx page. There are global permissions for the whole CMS

    • Manage users Allow Deny
    • Manage permissions Allow Deny
    • Manage files Allow Deny
    • Edit templates Allow Deny
    • CmsAccess Allow Deny
    and page permissions

    • View Allow Deny
    • Create Allow Deny
    • Modify Allow Deny
    • Delete / Rollback Allow Deny
    • Change Permissions Allow Deny
    • Change Properties Allow Deny
    • Approve Allow Deny
    • Publish Allow Deny
    • Modify Layout Allow Deny

    Kind regards,
