I must be missing something. When I develop a custom module for SF as a separate VS project, I can never seem to get Visual Studio's Intellisense to work when editing embedded Control Templates.

I always make sure that i reference the correct DLLs for the project (e.g. Telerik.Cms.Web.UI), and make sure that that the templates properly register the assemblies (e.g.  <%@ Register TagPrefix="sf" Namespace="Telerik.Cms.Web.UI" Assembly="Telerik.Cms.Web.UI" %> ) but still, the editor gives me those squiggly lines with the messages that these are not known elements. It drives me nuts, since It's a pain to look up what properties the big bucket of Sitefinity controls might have.

As an example, if i open up the sample Products module:
Once i fix the broken references to sitefinity DLLs and add the missing ones to the project, I still get no intellisence in Visual Studio.

Please tell me that there's a way to get it working, because it feels like a step back in .NET to not be able to use the IDE's features.

    Hello John,

Intellisense cannot be used in embedded templates. The problem is not related to any reference. I agree that it is not convenient, but there is no option to turn it on.
