    Good Afternoon.

    I hope you can assist.

We successfully migrated content from our old custom CMS into Sitefinity. The only problem we have encountered was that we used a hash representation of an example for the Publication_Date and Expiration_Date for all the news items we imported - this being in the sf_VrsTxtData-Table in the database.

Now, we found that when we edit a news item, it does not represent the actual publication/expiration date of the imported article, but the rather the hashed value of the example.

My question is this - how do I covert the publication date of the example into correct hash value.

I have poked around with the GetHashCode() function, but I am not sure what format the string or date should take?

Thank you very much for you time regarding this matter and hope to hear from you guys soonest!!

    Hi Francois,

sf_VrsTxtData stores data for the staged content items and it collects data from Telerik.Versioning.VersionManager. Also all GC metadata is kept in sf_GCMetaData table where the data format is not hashed.

Is that an option for you to use sf_GCMetaData or your approach is different.

    Sincerely yours,
